Privacy

GradeA is a practice site for Cambridge exam papers, run by one ICT teacher in Seychelles. Most of the people who use it are at school, so this page is written to be read by a student or a parent rather than by a lawyer.

What we hold about you

• Your name and your email address, as your Google account gives them to us.
• The address of your Google profile picture, if your account has one.
• Your practice: every attempt you finish, the answers you typed, the marks, how long you took and which questions you got wrong.
• The class you are in, if a teacher puts you in one, and the tasks they set you.

That is all. We ask Google for your name, your email and your picture and nothing else, and there is no tracker, no advertising and no third party watching you here.

Why we hold it

Your name and email are how the site knows it is you when you sign in. Your practice is the point of the site: your dashboard, your history and the topics you find hard are all worked out from it, and your teacher needs it to teach you.

Who can see it

• You.
• Your teacher, if you join a class — your work, in that class, and not another pupil's.
• A parent, if a parent account has been linked to yours.
• The teacher who runs GradeA, who keeps the site working.

Nobody else. We do not sell anything and we do not pass your work to anyone.

Asking for a teacher's help

When you pick your subject you can tick "I want a teacher's help". That tick is not consent to be contacted and the site sends nothing to anybody: it only notes on your own row that you are interested, so your teacher can offer. Anyone who ever contacts a parent does it because a person filled in a form and sent it.

Having it deleted

Ask, and your account and everything above goes. Write to wolfganggermain1@gmail.com from the address you signed in with. You do not have to give a reason.

If you are under 18

Tell a parent or guardian that you are using GradeA, and show them this page. If they would rather you did not, stop using it and ask us to delete your account — that request is always granted.

Cookies

One cookie, so that you stay signed in. It holds nothing but the fact that you are, and it is gone when you sign out.

If your teacher sent you a class link, that page sets one more. It remembers only that the link has already been opened on this device, so that opening it twice is not counted as two people. It holds no name, no address and nothing about you, it is never read by anyone else, and it clears itself after 30 days.
